Mills is best remembered for his time at Leeds United playing as a defender. He helped Leeds reach the 2000-01 Champions League Semi-final. He made 101 appearances and scored three goals. Mills also appeared for England in the 2002 World Cup. Mills is now a regular pundit on the BBC.
