Okocha was born in Nigeria, but started his professional football career in Germany, enjoying a successful spell with Frankfurt before moving to France to join PSG. The midfielder - so good they names him twice - is best known in England for his time at Bolton, where he was a runner up in the 2003/04 League Cup, but had his greatest success as part of the Nigeria squad that won Olympic Gold in 1996. He was named Nigerian Footballer of the Year seven times, having won 75 caps for his country.
