Davies is remembered for his time at Bolton Wanderers. He joined the club in the summer of 2003. He scored ten times and started every league match in his first season. He ended his first season by winning the club’s Player of the Year award. In April 2008, Davies scored his 100th career goal in a 1-0 win over West Ham United. Davies made a total of 351 appearances and scored seventy-four goals for Bolton Wanderers.
