Niall Quinn

Niall Quinn saw most of his success during his time at Manchester City and Sunderland. He scored twenty-two times in his first full season at Manchester City and went on to spend six years at the club. His most notable game came when he scored early on and also saved a penalty to beat Derby County. With few substitute goalkeepers at the time and starting goal keeper, Tony Coton, being sent off, Quinn took the gloves and made the save. Quinn finished his successful career with Sunderland making 203 appearances and scoring sixty-one times.
