Paul Merson

Paul Merson made his name at Arsenal, where he started as a apprentice in 1985. Over his 12 year stay at the Gunners, Merson played over 300 games, scoring 78 goals, and winning every domestic trophy possible, as well as the European Cup Winners Cup. After leaving Arsenal, Merson had spells at Middlesbrough, Aston Villa and Portsmouth, before trying his hand at management whilst at Football League club Walsall. Over his career, Merson played 21 times for England, scoring 3 goals and the former international is now a regular face on Sky Sports Soccer Saturday, where his antics have made him a household name with a new generation of football fans.
