Hodge enjoyed a decorated career in English football, starting at Nottingham Forest, where he won the Full Members Cup in 1989, and the League Cup in 1989 and 1990. He enjoyed spells at Aston Villa and Tottenham, before joining Leeds, where he won the First Division in 1992.

Hodge played 24 times for England, and was part of the squad that finished 4th at the World Cup in 1990. He is the owner of Maradona's shirt from the infamous 'Hand of God' game!!
